About the event
Sergio Valdeos is considered one of the most famous and virtuosic guitarists in Peru. His fame now extends beyond the borders of South America. His tours take him all over the world.
Valdeos was the guitarist of the Afro-Peruvian singer, composer, songwriter, ethnomusicologist and cultural politician Susana Baca de la Colina – an international icon of Afro-Peruvian musical traditions.
Their collaboration was rewarded with the Latin Grammy in 2002.
In the modern Brazilian guitar scene of Rio de Janeiro, Valdeos is an undeniable reference.
